Your teacher will play the role of the student(s) to ask you some questions.

  • What attributes you should have as a high school student in New Zealand and China
  • What you would like to recommend about China to New Zealand and via versa

Conditions:

  • Your part in conversation should be a minium length of two minute.
  • You have a week to prepare for this conversation and you have 2 periods in class on preparation.

  • Cue cards are not allowed but visual aids (maps or pictures) can be used.
  • Check the assessment schedule and examples of performance carefully and make sure you know what level of performance is required, so that you know what you must do to achieve at each level.
  • The language examples are given as a guide for you, you may use part of them or adapt them, but do not quote them verbatim.
  • Your speech must be your own work.
  • You must speak clearly – don’t speak too fast.
